Hotel:

The DSCC 2014 will take place at the Marriott Plaza San Antonio, which is uniquely situated on 6.5 acres in the heart of Downtown San Antonio.

The hotel is conveniently located just 2 blocks from the celebrated and renowned River Walk. The conference hotel will hold the conference rate on available rooms on a space-available basis.

• Public Bus: Bus Number 5 (which continues as Number 30) stops just outside Terminal B and brings you downtown in about half an hour, for $1.10 exact change, and runs approximately every 30 minutes. Weather:

In October, typical temperatures at San Antonio range from a high of 82 F (28 C) to a low of 60 F (15.5 C). Light rain (and an occasional thunderstorm) is possible in October and hence an umbrella can be handy. The current weather forecast is included below.
