Registration is required for attendance of DSCC 2014. Furthermore, the final submission of each paper to PaperCept requires that at least one author must pay the full registration fee for the conference. The final version of the manuscript must comply with the paper formatting instructions, which limits short papers to five pages and long or regular papers to ten pages. No paper is allowed to exceed the page limitations and, consequently, there will be no "extra page" charges.

A full registration for a member, a non-member, or a life member will allow for uploading up to five accepted papers that will be included in the conference proceedings. It will also provide the registered individual with one copy of the conference proceedings along with a free of charge attendance of the conference banquet, breakfasts, and refreshments during coffee breaks. When registering, please indicate your preference of either vegetarian or non-vegetarian meal at the banquet.

As shown in the table below, registration costs are lower if you are a member of ASME or its affiliated professional societies. Participants paying non-member full registration fee or non-member student registration fee will receive a complimentary ASME membership for one year. Further reduction in registration costs can be attained by registering during the early/advance registration time window, which has a hard deadline of August 31, 2014.

Additional Fees
Extra proceedings copies or banquet tickets, beyond what is being provided through conference registration, can be purchased at the following rates:

1. Each additional flash memory drive including conference proceeding is $25 during advance registration; otherwise, the cost will be $30 during onsite registration.
2. Additional banquet ticket will be available for purchase during registration. Cost is TBD.
